On PURPOSE wants to see young adults advancing the Kingdom of God through leadership in various spheres of influence.

On Purpose aims to capture the creative and innovative power of the church that rests in the hearts and minds of its young adults.

TRANSPARENCY:  On Purpose does not believe in covering up our true selves in the attempt to mislead, misguide, or take advantage of anyone. We value who God created us to be, and our focus is to continue to become that person more and more as we uncover our identity in Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:1-6)

RELATIONSHIP: On Purpose understands that God created us to be relational and operate in respect to how our actions affect those connected to us (directly or indirectly), and that all relationships must be filtered through God’s agape love that we express toward our fellow man. (1 Corinthians 10:23-24)

COMMUNITY: On Purpose understands that you cannot influence what you avoid, so we look to go beyond the walls of the church to engage the community around us and actively show the love of Christ while spreading the culture of the Kingdom. (Romans 10:14-15)

ACTION: On Purpose believes in being faith-walkers, actively pursuing the dreams and visions God has placed in our hearts: visions that reflect His purpose for our lives. (James 1:22-25)

1. In order for On Purpose or the church to be successful, a leadership culture must exist.

2. In order for anything to progress or get better, there must be a leader there willing to take up the responsibility.

3. The key to true leadership is discovering who God created you to be.

4. As leaders, we focus on getting the job done more than being concerned about whose job it is. If you have the ability to respond, you are responsible.
